Adam and Isaac are having their friend Meg over to play today. Isaac mentioned in casual conversation that he is going to "marry Meg." At this Adam got up, went in his room and shut the door. I followed him in and found him with a long face. I asked what was wrong and he said he didn't like what Isaac said (which is nothing new, Isaac has been saying this for months). I reminded him of his affection for Kate (a girl in his class that he has been claiming he'll marry for a while now too). Adam's response was, "she has found someone else to love." Poor Adam.
I've requested that all discussions of marriage wait until they are older. Since they are playing house it has been a big tricky. At the moment Meg is the Mom, Isaac the dog, and Adam the baby. So far so good . . .

That is hilarious!! Eden talks all the time about her "boy friend". She is genuinely just distinguishing him from her girl friends, but it makes lon nervous all the same haha! Maybe because she has a "new boy friend" every other day....?
